I started our Hobby Kennel with my family in the year 1988, but we have had dobermanns for the last 20 years and English-Toy-Terriers for 11 years. And over the years our love for dogs as just grown and grown.
So then we got into going to dog shows and once you have been to one it just gets under your skin, all of a sudden you are going to a dog show every other weekend, because its fun and you meet a lot of different people and of course there is always the chance that you might win, and when that happens you get totally hooked and it becomes part of your life style. Then we joined a training club where you can train and learn your dog so many things,we thought nothing of driving 1½ hours 2 to 3 times a week to train our first dog,that also gets into your blood and once you have tried it you can,t stop. Yes its fun to do all these things with your dog as its also very important to socialize your dog especially if its a puppy.

Having dogs can sometimes be hard work,you have to be totally dedicated,you play with them, they make you laugh and cry, you look after them when they may get sick, your heart is broken if you loose one from sickness or accident or any other reason. They become part of you and your life but it is so rewarding when those eyes just look at you and you can see the love in them and then you know it is all worth while. And most of all " Do you know that old saying" a dog will always be your best friend, so what else could anyone wish for
